361 Degree Minds and Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education have entered into collaboration for offering Online UG, PG and PG Diploma programs. These include MBA and its variants, BBA, B Com and its variants, and PG Diploma and its variants. Under this collaboration, 361DM is authorized to do academic delivery and internal evaluation for the students of these programs, while the University would conduct the external evaluation of the students by way of written exams in designated exam centres.

As a student of university program, you have guidance and support from our student
coordinator, tech support team and a dedicated e-coach, regarding all university-related, technical and academic queries.

The university programs like online MBA, BBA, B Com, PG Diplomas etc. are approved by the Ministry of HRD, India and recognized by UGC and AICTE, the governing bodies of higher education in India. This means that these degrees and diplomas are valid in private, public and government sector organizations in India and abroad.

Other programs are based on global principles of effective adult learning, and certified jointly by 361DM and the institution/organization you come through.

You require a computer with speakers / headphones and internet connection of minimum 512 Kbps speed for going through an online program at 361DM.

After you have enrolled for a program, we will send your unique login credentials by email. Using these credentials, you will be able to get access to your private learning space. Please see ‘How is an online program delivered by 361DM?’

For university programs, you don’t need to physically visit a centre to attend the faculty sessions; you can attend them online from wherever you are, with the help of a computer and internet connection. All you need to ensure is that you attended at least 30 hours of sessions across all subjects in the whole year.

For other programs, there are no such requirements.

For university programs, each academic year, your score on 100 marks comes from two places – internal assessment done by 361DM for 25 marks, and external assessment done by university for 75 marks.

Internal assessment is done via assignments, tests, quizzes etc. conducted by 361DM online throughout the program.

External assessment is done via the pen-and-paper exams conducted by the university at designated exam centres every year.

The courseware provided in your learning space is as per the course curriculum prescribed by the University to all their students, whether regular or online. Therefore, preparing for the University exams from 361DM’s courseware is enough and sufficient.

To add to your knowledge on various subjects, you are free to refer to other books related to these subjects at your will. You can make use of the library, discussion forum, and buddy chats to share and exchange knowledge with your fellow learners.

For the university programs like MBA, BBA, B Com and PG Diplomas, exams are conducted at designated exam centres all over India.For other programs, there are no exams, only the quizzes and tests that you will come across throughout the program.

For university program students, the Main exams are conducted each year in the month of May. But if you missed writing the exams completely, or missed a few subject exams in May, then you are provided another window to write the missed subjects in Supplementary exams held in December the same year.

Even if you could not clear a subject the first time, you can take the supplementary exams for that subject alone in December.

You have the flexibility to complete the program over 5 years.

While you may start your university program on flexible dates in the year, but you would be allowed to finish the year’s curriculum within a maximum fixed no. of years, by way of writing the university exams on designated dates and venue.

Each program is of a minimum and maximum duration. For example, MBA is for min 2 years, and BBA is for min. 3 years. Maximum time allowed by the university to complete an online program is 5 years.

For other programs, you should be completing the program any time before your PIN expires.
