Dr. Beam is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Arkansas. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and has taught Introduction to Operations Management, Intro to Decision Support Systems, Introduction to Analytics, Probability and Statistics, Lean Six Sigma, Maintenance and Reliability, Risk Management, and a variety of other operations management topics since she began with the program in 2012. She has been teaching online since 2007.
Leonard is currently a full-time instructor in the MSOM program. He began teaching for the MSOM program in 1997 as an adjunct instructor. Leonard’s business background and experience includes several closely held entrepreneurial ventures that run the gamut from management and tax consulting/representation services, multi state retail operations in partnership with major oil companies, wholesale petroleum distributor, software development, and NASD licensed investment adviser representative.
Dr. Cassady is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Director of the First-Year Engineering Program, Director of the College of Engineering Honors Program, and Coordinator of the Industrial Engineering Capstone Experience at the University of Arkansas, where he has served on the faculty since 2000. He holds a BS summa cum laude, a MS, and a PhD, all in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) from Virginia Tech. Dr. Cassady received the 2016 Albert G. Holzman Distinguished Educator Award from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE). Dr. Cassady’s research interests included reliability engineering, statistical quality control, and strategic decision-making in sports.
